We have an opportunity within HSBC Channel Islands (CIIOM) business for a Senior Transformation Manager.

Working as part of the transformation team, you will play a key role in pulling together and driving forward cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of projects from ideation through to initial implementation for the regulatory landscape of the CIIOM business.

In this role you will:
  1. Support solution design, evaluate costs, benefits, and obstacles prior to implementation, and understand the requirements backlog ensuring they are complete and unambiguous.
  2. Act as an expert across multiple concurrent projects or programmes by guiding teams on project requirements, ensuring they map to the business needs, including appropriate approvals and effective collaboration with colleagues and partners across multi-geographical regions on project requirements, design, change, and implementation.
  3. Assess reengineering of processes, considering risk, end-to-end flow, and cost, providing detailed guidance on process design.
  4. Support programme management with impact assessments for change requests on design, scope, time, budget, or effort, and provide accurate estimates for handling new requirements, design changes, and scope.
  5. Be responsible for non-financial risk management and adherence to HSBC Change framework.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  1. Proven track record as a project manager with experience leading and delivering transformation and change projects.
  2. Solid financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise within a regulatory framework.
  3. Experience in scoping project requirements and conducting design activities across business, operations, and technology projects. Experience with Agile methodology is a bonus.
  4. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engender confidence across geographically dispersed teams and resources.
  5. Highly self-motivated and resilient, able to pragmatically manage people and tasks with conflicting priorities.

This role is based in the Channel Islands - Jersey OR Guernsey. To comply with local right-to-work regulations, this role is open to CIIOM residents only.
