ICAEW is recruiting for a Transactions Tax Manager/Senior Manager to strengthen its specialist transactions team in Cheshire. You will advise shareholders and business owners on sales, support acquisitions and advise on structures, while handling tax aspects of deals and EOT transactions.

The role emphasises tax-led deal work with opportunities to work on multi-million-pound transactions and contribute to ongoing growth of the practice. Flexible location options within Cheshire are offered.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification or working towards it.
• Strong technical tax knowledge relevant to transactions.
• Experience within transactions, corporate tax or tax advisory.
• Exposure to due diligence, business sales, acquisitions, reorganisations or EOTs is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence to work with owners and senior stakeholders.
• Interest in growing a transactions practice.

Responsabilités

• Advising shareholders and business owners on the sale of their businesses.
• Supporting clients acquiring businesses and advising on buy-out and transaction structures.
• Providing tax advice on business transfers, reorganisations and restructuring.
• Working on Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) transactions.
• Undertaking and overseeing tax due diligence assignments.
• Advising on tax implications and structuring of transactions.
• Collaborating with clients and their advisers throughout deals.
• Managing transactions of varying sizes, including multi-million-pound deals.
• Contributing to growth of the firm's transactions offering.
