Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Training Programme Director – T&O Surgery (Education) on a secondment basis, remunerated on the NHS Consultant Pay Scale – 0.5PA (2 hours per week). The role supports the Head of School in delivering a wide range of educational functions and workforce transformation across the region.

The post focuses on learner supervision, assessment, engagement of faculty and delivering innovative curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage educational quality across training programmes.
• Oversee workforce development and curriculum delivery.
• Ensure trainee progression, assessments and rotations meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead on educational quality management within Yorkshire and the Humber.
• Advise on OOP/LTFT/IDTs and inter-deanery transfer processes.
• Collaborate with schools, faculties, regulators and partners.
