Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering, transport planning or related discipline.
• Proven experience leading delivery of complex traffic signal projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK traffic signal design principles and control strategies.
• Experience with local authorities, consultants or product manufacturers.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and signal design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of traffic signal and intelligent transport projects.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring and support to engineers and technicians.
• Manage project scope, programmes, budgets, risks and quality.
• Prepare and review traffic signal designs, reports and drawings.
• Develop junction improvement schemes and network optimisation.
• Advise clients on control and network management options.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors and commissioning teams.
