Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer (Remote, UK)

We're seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with fresh perspectives in Traffic Signal Design.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
