Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer

Join Telent as a Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a balanced mix of remote work and onsite inspections, surveys, and stakeholder engagement.

As part of our Engineering Team, you'll be empowered to innovate, collaborate with technical experts, and contribute to critical infrastructure connectivity and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Develop technical designs for complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight and develop ideas for new products and designs
• Prepare MOVA designs and datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance into a senior design role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Experience with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
