We are seeking an experienced underwriter or broker specializing in property and property investment to join our Property Investors Underwriting team within Aviva’s Global Corporate Specialty (GCS) department. This role is ideal for someone with excellent relationship-building and mentoring skills, coupled with commercial property and real estate underwriting experience.
You will be responsible for underwriting profitable business within an aligned portfolio, working closely with brokers through face-to-face meetings and operating within established guidelines and authority levels. Your goal will be to grow your book through new business and renewals, making day-to-day underwriting decisions regarding risk acceptance and rating within detailed guidelines. Additionally, you will support and mentor junior colleagues to help them develop and achieve their goals.
