Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer - London - On-site - £75,000-£90,000 + bonuses

VIQU has partnered with a leading investment management organization seeking to expand their IT support team. The ideal candidate will be confident with a strong IT support engineering skillset, capable of independently supporting the entire trading floor. The candidate should possess a solid technical background and be proactive in delivering hands-on support.

Job Duties of the Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer:

1. Provide end-user technical support for applications, hardware, and workstations.
2. Ensure minimal downtime through prompt issue identification and resolution.
3. Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently using a structured tracking system.
4. Deliver support both in person and remotely across various locations.
5. Participate in migration projects, including software and system upgrades.
6. Support office relocations and infrastructure setup for new or changing environments.
7. Commit to 5 days on-site per week.

Requirements of the Senior Trade Floor IT Support Engineer:

1. Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Prior experience in financial services is required.
4. Hands-on experience supporting a trading floor or similar high-pressure environment.
5. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 2011, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365.
6. Solid experience in hardware support and troubleshooting.
7. Experience supporting Bloomberg Terminal and Refinitiv applications.
