Senior Town Planner

Location: Birmingham

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Town Planner to join a well-established and renowned property consultancy in Birmingham.

My client has established business partners across the UK, with the Birmingham office now seeking the addition of an experienced Planner due to an ever-increasing pipeline of work. The commercial planning consultancy team has an excellent track record in successfully promoting sites for development through both the development management process.

You will be working on a wide range of planning applications for large-scale commercial developments, residential developments, employment, retail, health care, leisure, and local authority community-related projects, as well as promoting sites through the Local Plan process.

The team also advises clients on a wide range of planning-related issues including identifying strategic development land, Certificates of Lawful Use, site searches, Sequential Test reports, and advertisement consents.

Candidate Requirements:
  1. MRTPI Chartered Town Planner, or eligible for chartership.
  2. Extensive previous experience at Planner/Senior Planner level.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
