Pleydell Smithyman are looking for a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone with the following:

At least five years private sector experience.

Ideally chartered status (or working towards).

Full time is preferable, but part time would be considered.

Work would be across a range of sectors including retail, commercial and environmental planning.

Key responsibilities will typically include undertaking policy and planning history research, preparing strategies for securing planning permissions and associated planning applications, writing design and access statements and planning statements, negotiating with officers and dealing directly with clients and other consultants.

A personable and client facing professional who is commercially aware.

Full UK driving licence required.

Salary dependent on experience.

About Pleydell Smithyman:

Offices based in Ironbridge, Shropshire.

Current working arrangements are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in the office with remaining days working from home.

We offer 32 days holiday per annum including bank holidays, group life/death in service scheme, pension contribution following a probationary period and free car parking at our offices
