Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a Planning and Design Consultancy that specialises in rural development and diversification. We are hiring for a Senior Town Planner. This is a permanent position with hybrid working options.

Our client operates throughout the UK, serving a diverse client base with various land and property interests. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experienced professionals, including property specialists, business consultants, planners, project managers, architects, and landscape architects, all focused on rural development.

The Person

The successful candidate will be resourceful, flexible, and ambitious, demonstrating:

• Excellent understanding of client relationship management
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to manage workload, budgets, and project coordination
• Experience in business development and project delivery (advantageous)
• Competence and confidence in handling various planning disciplines

Experience in rural planning is not essential but understanding rural planning issues and a keen interest in working in this sector are beneficial.
