Job summary

A multi-disciplinary property consultancy in Manchester is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join its expanding planning team. You will deliver planning advice across a range of projects and build strong client relationships.

The role involves managing planning applications from inception to determination, preparing statements and reports, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, mentoring junior colleagues, and supporting business development with progression toward Associate

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• MRTPI qualification or working towards chartership.
• Experience in a planning consultancy or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
• Experience managing planning applications and client instructions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ambition to progress toward Associate level.

Responsibilities

• Managing planning applications and projects from inception through to determination.
• Providing strategic and technical planning advice to clients.

• Undertaking planning appraisals, policy assessments and development feasibility work.

I’m currently working with a highly regarded multi-disciplinary property consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join its growing Manchester planning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects alongside experienced planning and property professionals.

The role will provide exposure to a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, strategic land and mixed-use development.

The Role

As a Senior Planner, you will take responsibility for delivering planning advice across a range of projects while developing strong client relationships and supporting more junior members of the team.
