A leading independent consultancy is seeking an experienced Planner to join their growing team. The firm have extensive experience delivering projects in the UK and internationally. From modest commercial extensions to large-scale residential schemes, public infrastructure, and regeneration projects. Their clientele is diverse, including developers, landowners, local authorities, government bodies, housing providers, financial institutions, and private enterprises.

Senior Town Planner Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documents
  • Draft planning statements, appeal documents, and site appraisals
  • Undertake policy and site research
  • Attend client meetings and liaise with local authorities
  • Support and mentor junior planners

Senior Town Planner Requirements
  • Experience in a planning consultancy or local authority environment
  • RTPI accredited degree
  • Full Chartered Membership of the RTPI (or working towards)
  • Knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy frameworks
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Full UK driving license
