We're looking for an experienced Senior Town Planner to be an integral part of a dynamic team, helping our client create a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous future for the beautiful city of Derby.

Your Role:

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating planning, development, and regeneration projects across Derby. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading a team of dedicated planners and supporting their growth.
2. Collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with Derby's strategic development goals.
3. Preparing and submitting planning applications, while liaising with regulatory bodies.
4. Evaluating and recommending solutions for complex planning and zoning challenges.
5. Continuously researching and staying updated on local, regional, and national planning regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Urban Planning or related field.
• Proven experience in town planning, with a track record of successful projects.

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Membership in a recognised professional body (e.g., RTPI).
