Senior Town Planner - Aberdeen - GBP Competitive

Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-regarded and expanding planning consultancy, is looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their team in Aberdeen. The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering complex planning projects, managing applications, and providing strategic advice to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and preparing planning applications and appeals for a diverse range of projects.
2. Advising clients on planning strategies and navigating local planning policies.
3. Leading consultations with local authorities and key stakeholders.
4. Mentoring and supporting junior staff members.
5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development.

Key Requirements

• Chartered membership of the RTPI (or close to obtaining chartership).
• Extensive knowledge of Scottish planning policies and procedures.
• Proven experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy or local authority.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work to tight deadlines.
