Job summary

NTT DATA UK Security Practice in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead delivery of high-quality cyber threat intelligence for clients. You’ll combine hands-on analysis with day-to-day leadership of analysts, setting priorities and ensuring analytical quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years practical experience delivering cyber threat intelligence.
• Experience leading, coordinating or supervising a team or function.
• Knowledge of the intelligence cycle, structured analytical techniques, collection management, source evaluation and threat actor analysis.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and platforms; able to integrate with SIEM/SOAR.
• Ability to analyze IOCs, malware, TTPs and guide detection/response decisions.
• Strong OSINT and dark‑web research with security and ethical considerations.
• Scripting/automation in Python or PowerShell; comfortable with APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication including executive briefing and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, allocate and coordinate threat intelligence work; set objectives and deadlines.
• Provide technical supervision, peer review and escalation support while enabling autonomy.
• Coach team members with feedback, knowledge sharing and certification support.
• Manage workload, client priorities, and risks; present options and recommendations.
• Establish delivery standards and reusable intelligence processes; monitor quality.
• Act as deputy/workstream lead in client, operational and leadership forums.
• Define priority intelligence requirements and collection plans aligned to client assets.
• Conduct OSINT, commercial and government research for intelligence outputs.
• Analyze threat actors, campaigns, infrastructure, IOCs and TTPs for actionable insights.
• Produce strategic, operational and tactical intelligence with recommended actions.
• Maintain awareness of geopolitical/regulatory developments affecting UK/international clients.
