The Opportunity

You will act as a team leader within the Strategic Threat Intelligence team, reporting to the Strategic Threat Intelligence Manager. As a senior member, you will have some line management responsibilities, including training and mentoring team members, and supporting the team’s growth. You should have strong consultancy skills and experience managing large, complex client-facing projects with multiple stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support the development of our Strategic Threat Intelligence capabilities in line with our overall strategy.
  • Lead delivery of Regulator-driven Threat Intelligence Engagements (CBEST, TIBER, CORIE, iCAST, AASE).
  • Deliver services such as Online Exposure Assessments, VIP Assessments, Threat Intelligence Maturity Assessments, Threat Landscape Reports, and Regulatory Threat Intelligence.
  • Have line management responsibilities as the team expands.
  • Set the intelligence direction and collection priorities.
  • Work under operational time pressure, self-manage tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Understand cyber threat actors, their targets, and TTPs.
  • Maintain knowledge of cyber threats across sectors, regions, and countries.
  • Set an example in output and work ethic, supporting the development of NCC Group’s Threat Intelligence capabilities.
Functional and Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with Threat Intelligence Principles and Testing Frameworks like CBEST and TIBER.
  • Possession or willingness to obtain CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Manager (CCTIM).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience as a threat intelligence analyst or similar role.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, subdomains).
  • Understanding of cyber terminology and concepts.
  • Research and reconnaissance skills, including OSINT techniques.
  • Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms such as MISP or OpenCTI.
