Morson Edge is seeking a Principal Thermal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical engineering aspects of radar technology development. The role involves governing the design, build, integration and test of complex mechanical systems, with emphasis on thermal management and structural analysis.

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in Thermal Mechanical Systems, with experience across CFD, FEA, propulsion or structures, and may hold the Mechanical Design Authority for

Competenze

• Experience with thermal management system design and heat exchangers.
• Experience with composite materials in structural design.
• Proficiency with modelling tools for loads and vibration analysis.
• CEng status, or working towards it.

Mansioni

• Plan and supervise the mechanical engineering work within the Future Radar portfolio.
• Direct technical work assignments and reviews of work in progress.
• Review technical feasibility of proposed solutions to engineering problems.
• Personally help solve particularly complex technical problems.
