Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an experienced technical support specialist for Thermal Management Solutions (TMS) to aid customer applications, service teams, and field engineers. You will serve as the technical interface, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve processes through SOPs and BKMs.

You will participate in on-site inspections, software configuration guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive performance and customer satisfaction at client sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in a science/engineering field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in technical support, service engineering, or application engineering roles
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-disciplinary systems in customer environments
• Understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and comfortable with software as a tool
• Experience with multimeters, data recorders, and signal generators
• Familiarity with software configurations, control systems, and system diagnostics is desirable
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise to support customer applications, service teams, and field engineers for Thermal Management Solutions (TMS)
• Assist site teams and customers with TMS APP use and issues
• Monitor shared support email and respond promptly to customers
• Support customers with new parts introductions and complex solutions for optimal TMS performance
• Write and maintain SOPs for service, installation, and application support
• Author technical reports and ensure clear documentation for internal and customer use
• Provide training input and deliver advanced training sessions as needed
