Working Hours: 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-13:00 Fri

The Role:

This position involves maintenance, compliance, and continual improvement of heat treatment equipment such as furnaces and ovens used in aerospace component manufacturing. The role ensures equipment meets NADCAP and AMS2750 standards, maintaining aerospace standards and leading company standards across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance and standards for heat treatment equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.
• Organize maintenance activities, coordinate repairs with suppliers, ensure compliance, and maintain calibration and standards records.
• Engage with customers and suppliers for scheduling servicing, planning preventative maintenance, and ensuring continuous operation of thermal equipment.
• Enforce NADCAP Aerospace requirements and ensure adherence to AMS2750 standards.

Skills required:

• Experience in maintaining heat treatment furnaces and ovens.
• Engineering qualification such as HNC, ONC, NVQ, degree, or substantial experience in a similar engineering role.
• Knowledge of NADCAP Aerospace regulations or AMS2750 standards is a plus but not essential.
