The Role:

As a Senior Therapy Radiographer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing radiotherapy services within the Oxford centre. You will work as part of an integrated team, rotating across multiple treatment platforms and modalities to support the overall radiotherapy service. You will develop a broad clinical skillset, becoming an experienced imaging and treatment practitioner for complex treatments, including SABR, SRS, and adaptive MR-Linac treatments.

You will be comfortable delivering process innovation, with the drive to ensure excellence while maintaining positive relationships. You will collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals, making a meaningful impact and advancing your career.

What You'll Do:

• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to all HCPC standards of conduct, performance, and ethics.
• Follow all HCPC standards of proficiency.
• Contribute to the effective performance of the radiotherapy team.
• Create an environment conducive to effective teamwork among clinical, medical physics, diagnostic, and radiotherapy staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain safe working practices, including radiation protection and MR safety.
• Provide high-quality service to patients, aligned with GenesisCare standards.
• Accurately document patient treatments in line with company processes.
• Meet clinical audit, radiation protection, MR safety, and quality assurance requirements.
• Record compliments, incidents, and complaints, ensuring proper investigation and safeguards.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, partners, charities, and suppliers.
• Support ongoing service improvement and development.
• Lead by example in all aspects of patient care, contributing to service growth as requested.
• Maintain CPD in line with GenesisCare and HCPC standards.
• Work out of hours as needed to resolve breakdowns or crises.
• Participate in developing imaging and treatment protocols with colleagues.
• Engage in research and clinical trials to advance radiotherapy evidence and reputation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cutting-edge service delivery, including hypofractionation, dose escalation, and dose adaptation strategies.
