Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Specialist Palliative Therapist to join the Specialist Palliative Therapy Team in Bolton. You will work with patients independently and with therapy staff, delivering Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy in patients' homes or at the Hospice.

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred care and participate in regular supervision.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Specialist Palliative Therapy Team in Bolton. The services provide therapy, care and support for patients in their own home and in the Hospice.

You will work as part of a Multidisciplinary team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Specialist Palliative Nurses, Nurse Assistant Practitioners, Pharmacists, Social Workers and Consultants.

Your role will be to work with patients independently and jointly with therapy staff on site at the Hospice or within the patient’s own home, delivering therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of senior staff. The therapy interventions will include Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a service in Bolton where you can really make a difference to people’s lives.
