A prominent NHS Trust in Salford seeks a motivated Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant / Therapy Technician to support a dynamic team. You will manage your own caseload and assist with patient rehabilitation in various settings. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Integrated Stroke and Neuro-Rehab team as a Band 3 Senior Therapy Assistant / Therapy Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team of many professions, including a well established support workforce.
The work is varied and you will manage and prioritise your own caseload under the guidance of the registered practitioners to provide high quality support for the therapists and assist with the rehabilitation of patients working directly with the different professions. This will require a high level of communication skills, flexibility, time management and a problem solving nature.
Location of intervention can be at the patients home, clinic or other community setting and thus ability to travel to different geographic locations either through use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs is required.
The role will be working with others or independently. You will also support our Team Administrators, as required, in processing referrals.
