Some duties and responsibilities include:
- Carrying out all spa treatments to the required standards, ensuring treatment times are adhered to.
- Following Champneys protocols and training programmes to offer the best service to our guests.
- Having thorough knowledge of the Club & Spa, Hotel, and their facilities and rules, advising customers accordingly.
- Maintaining your working areas, ensuring equipment is operational and clean, and reporting any defects to maintenance via the on-duty Manager.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices.
- Attending any necessary training courses to ensure you can offer all treatments expected of a senior therapist.
- Communicating positively and constructively with the manager and reception staff regarding scheduled treatments, changes, or additions to meet guest needs. Flexibility and cooperation are essential, including shift changes.
- Staying updated on developments related to product ranges and new treatments.
- Providing professional advice to guests through talks, demonstrations, spa tours, and promotional events to promote treatments.
- Offering exceptional client care to provide guests with a memorable treatment experience.
- Maximizing revenue opportunities according to targets and seeking support or training when needed.
- Recommending suitable homecare products to help guests maintain their results at home.
- Mentoring junior therapists by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Providing skin consultation appointments and full home care prescriptions to premier guests.
- Weekend working is scheduled on a rota basis.
