A leading healthcare organization in Bristol is seeking a senior professional to oversee radiotherapy trials within its clinical trials unit. The role requires managing a team and ensuring adherence to high standards of care. The ideal candidate has a strong background in radiotherapy and leadership skills. A Vacancy at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This is an autonomous role integrated within and as part of the clinical trials unit team offering the opportunity to lead research professionals and ensuring clinical trials integration within the BHOC.
To act as a senior member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing expert knowledge for radiotherapy trials. To supervise and co-ordinate radiographers/research nurses within CTU allocated to radiotherapy trials; ensuring flexible utilisation of the research skill mix to enable maximum patient recruitment. To manage a portfolio of radiotherapy based clinical research trials. To liaise closely with the trials team; the multidisciplinary team, patients, carers and study organisers to ensure effective communication, high quality care and adherence to the study protocols.
