Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer for the OUH Radiotherapy @ Milton Keynes site. This 12-month maternity cover role focuses on delivering safe radiotherapy with SABR, VMAT, DIBH and SGRT, using a Varian TrueBeam system and networked ARIA.

You’ll support pre-treatment and treatment pathways, supervise junior staff, and engage in CPD opportunities within a friendly multi-site team across Oxford, Swindon and Milton Keynes.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hon) Radiotherapy and HCPC registered are required.
• Experience with IGRT modalities and advanced techniques is essential.
• Post-registration experience in radiography with rotations through pre-treatment and treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as a senior member across all sections including mould room, CT, simulation and contouring.
• Assist in day-to-day treatment/workload organisation and unit management.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth service.
• Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and students.
• Contribute to audits, research and CPD activities.
