Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer to join the Radiotherapy @ Milton Keynes team for a 12-month maternity cover. You will deliver high‑quality radiotherapy using SABR, VMAT, DIBH and SGRT within a supportive, multi‑site environment.

You will work with a skilled team, benefit from a strong induction, CPD funding, and opportunities to participate in audits and research. Registration with HCPC and a BSc in Radiotherapy are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hon) Radiotherapy required.
• HCPC registration as Therapeutic Radiographer essential.
• Knowledge of IGRT modalities and radiotherapy equipment.
• Understanding of computerised treatment planning systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work as a senior member of the Radiography team across pre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Assist in day-to-day management of the clinical workload and unit operations.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Organise treatment unit workflow to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Supervise, support and train junior staff and students.
