Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub

Band 6

Permanent

37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust (LUHFT) for a HCPC/NMC registered ODP/RN with Scrub experience to join the Theatre team as a Band 6.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is looking to further their career and embrace a peri-operative role with a commitment to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients within our busy theatres complex. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive, team-oriented environment, with an in-depth induction and excellent preceptorship package for all applicants.

The successful applicant will work within theatres as a Scrub practitioner, with opportunities to rotate within disciplines supported by the theatre team.

The post holder will:

  1. Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, providing support and knowledge to patients within the speciality.
  2. Act as a role model, demonstrating effective organisational, clinical, and leadership skills.
  3. Undertake anaesthetic, scrub, and recovery duties as required to meet service delivery requirements.
  4. Maintain patient confidentiality and record keeping.
  5. Demonstrate good IT skills and record keeping.
  6. Be flexible, adaptable, and a strong communicator, providing ongoing support to a team of highly skilled professionals committed to patient care.
