We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic registered ODP or registered nurse to join our small team in the South West Ambulatory Orthopaedic Centre theatres, based in the Nightingale NHS Hospital, Exeter. The applicant will be an experienced orthopaedic scrub practitioner and able to lead and work within a multi disciplinary team. The Nightingale Hospital embraces innovation and collaborative working.

To lead and work within the Theatres, and give support for Registered Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners, AHPs, Senior Theatre Healthcare Support Worker, and Theatre Healthcare Support Workers and clinical stores teams in order to maintain a skilled and competent workforce. To support students and any other learners in this environment. To actively participate in the teaching, delivery and assessment of skills assessments/in-house competencies /university-accredited modules.

To work clinically within theatres as a senior scrub practitioner. To include covering anaesthetics and recovery if appointee is a qualified anaesthetic nurse or an ODP competent in these areas, where service provision is required.

Working Pattern : 5 day weekday service, with potential to develop to 7 day service. Usual working pattern over 4 days. Typical day 07:30 start to 17:30. closed for
