Overview

Role: Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub
Location: The Portland Hospital
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, Early, Late (12.30-21:00) and long days; 1 Saturday per month; Sundays (Standby shift for emergency obstetrics)
Salary: Competitive

The Portland Hospital is part of HCA Healthcare and is the UK\'s leading private hospital dedicated to women\'s and children\'s health. The hospital has 4 theatres and a range of paediatric and obstetric services with advanced equipment and a hybrid theatre available.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  • Work as part of a theatre team to ensure high standards of nursing care and patient safety in the theatre unit
  • Contribute to maintaining an environment conducive to high-quality patient care
  • deputise when other staff are absent and demonstrate strong leadership skills

Additional role details will include supporting complex procedures across specialties such as Gynae & Obstetrics, general and paediatric surgery, and paediatric care where applicable.
