Senior Theatre Practitioner

Up to £44,000.00 per annum depending on experience

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at Cheltenham Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC). You have relevant qualifications and experience, including post-registration experience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.

You will have excellent clinical skills, a drive to stay current with knowledge, and ensure best practices. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior clinical role.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  • Work closely with the Theatre Manager and Clinical Leaders to ensure governance and training are maintained
  • Demonstrate Nuffield behaviours framework and inspire colleagues
  • Ensure the patient perioperative journey is positive, with clinical safety at the core
  • Manage a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities
  • Collaborate effectively with ward colleagues to ensure continuity of patient care
