Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RN) in Recovery. You will be registered with NMC or HCPC and bring post-registration theatre experience, flexibility and excellent communication.

You’ll thrive in a team, supervise juniors, and help deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Join a modern hospital with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration, state-of-the-art theatres, and a broad caseload across adults and paediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration experience in theatre/recovery environments.
• Able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team in Recovery.
• Work with leading consultants and professionals who value you.
• Cover a varied caseload with state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior staff.
• Deliver high-quality care that is clinically effective and evidence-based.
• Collaborate with ward colleagues to maintain continuity of care.
• Demonstrate high-level airway skills and readiness for ILS/PILS.
• Be eligible to treat adults and paediatric patients.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - ODP/RN in Recovery at our Brentwood Hospital, you’ll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You’re also a great team worker.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - ODP in Recovery, you will:

• Be part of our close-knit multidisciplinary team.

• Enjoy a varied caseload with state-of-the­on technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
• Interact well with colleagues on the ward, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.
• Possess high level airway skills
• Be competent to work with adults and paediatric patients
• Be willing to undertake ILS/PILS
