Leonardo UK is seeking a Test Technician to join a small team within Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT). You will test production and customer hardware, fault-find to board level, perform basic hardware assembly, and program modules using various Acceptance Test Equipment and software packages.
Core technician skills, problem solving and continuous improvement are essential. The role is based in a laboratory environment with potential for hybrid working and accessible company benefits.
Salary: £34,500 - 39,000
Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.
Working with a small team of Technicians within Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), the Test Technician will be responsible for testing production and customer owned hardware, fault-finding and diagnosis of faults to board level, basic assembly of hardware plus programming of modules using a variety of Acceptance Test Equipment and software packages.
Core Technician skills, problem solving and continuous improvement are also a necessity. Due to the nature of work performed within this area, the majority of work performed will be within a screened laboratory environment.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
