Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Test Technician in Luton to test, troubleshoot and validate hardware. You will test production and customer-owned units, diagnose faults to board level, perform basic hardware assembly, and program modules using various test equipment and software.

Work within a small AIT team in a controlled lab, following specs meticulously and maintaining records. Security clearance is required, with BPSS and potential NSV/SC/DV checks.

This role is for you!**What you will do as a Senior Test Technician is take our Products, test them, shake them, bake them and bond them.*Working with a small team of Technicians within Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), the Test Technician will be responsible for testing production and customer owned hardware, fault-finding and diagnosis of faults to board level, basic assembly of hardware plus programming of modules using a variety of Acceptance Test Equipment and software packages. Core Technician skills, problem solving and continuous improvement are also a necessity.
