Job description

Leonardo has a great opportunity for a Senior Test Technician working within Manufacturing & Supply Chain, specifically in Screened Labs at our Capability Green site.

The Test Technician will be responsible for testing Production, Upgrades, and Repair Units, fault-finding, diagnosing faults to board level, basic hardware assembly, and programming modules using Acceptance Test Equipment and software, primarily Automated Test Sites.

This role is based on-site within a screened laboratory environment.

What you’ll bring

We seek a highly skilled Senior Test Technician with a strong background in electronic testing and fault diagnosis, experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and familiarity with test instruments. Responsibilities include functional and environmental testing, fault identification, and supporting root cause analysis. Experience in aerospace and SAP systems is advantageous. Training in vibration testing will be provided.

We value a good attitude and willingness to learn, even if you lack experience in all areas.

Security Clearance

This role requires pre-employment screening per the UK Government’s BPSS. Additional security vetting (NSV, SC, DV) may be necessary. More info is available on our website.
