Leonardo has a great opportunity for a Senior Test Technician working for Manufacturing & Supply chain, within Screened Labs at our Production environment at our Capability Green site.
Working with a small team of Technicians within Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), the Test Technician will be responsible for testing Production, Upgrades and Repair Units. They will also be required to carry out fault-finding and the diagnosis of faults to board level, basic assembly of hardware, plus programming of modules using a variety of Acceptance Test Equipment and software packages using primarily Automated Test Sites.
This role would be based on site.
Due to the nature of work performed within this area, the majority of work performed will be within a screened laboratory environment.
What you’ll bring
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic testing and fault diagnosis, with hands-on experience using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and a wide range of test instruments. You will be responsible for performing functional and environmental tests, identifying faults, and supporting root cause analysis. Experience within the aerospace sector and familiarity with SAP systems will be considered advantageous. Training will be provided for vibration testing where needed.
This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.

An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
