Senior Test Specialist

Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)

Salary: 48k plus 3% bonus and 10% bonus once DV is through

Clearance: Eligible for DV Clearance. Can start under SC Clearance.

You will join a global IT consultancy delivering digital transformation to the UK government. As a Senior Test Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team working to deliver high assurance services and solutions.

Your role:

Working alongside a team of professionals, you will seek to improve testing methods and add value to projects. You will lead by example, develop your team and emerging talent, and contribute to strengthening the Test Practice and building our reputation as a center of excellence. Core Skills:

1. Manual / Automated testing including Non-functional, Functional, and End-to-End Testing for Application, Infrastructure, Hardware, and Regression.
2. Production of Test artefacts such as Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management, and Reporting.
3. Experience with Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, SCOM, SCCM, VM Ware.
4. Execution of Manual Test Scripts.
5. Requirements Management.
6. Understanding of delivery methodologies like Agile, V-Model, & Waterfall.
7. Supporting Program and Project Managers to deliver testing requirements.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Strong relationship-building skills with peers and colleagues.
11. ISTQB Foundation Level qualification or higher.
12. Desirable but not essential: experience with NXLog, McAfee, SQL, Terminal Server, Juniper Networking, Cisco Viptela, Cisco ISE, KeePass.
