Job summary

Leonardo is recruiting a Design Authority for Test Solutions on a permanent basis at the Luton Cap. Green site. The role requires hands-on engineering experience with complex electronic test solutions across the full life cycle.

You will define requirements, chair design reviews, and integrate hardware and software design. Familiarity with defence tech, EW methods, and cyber security is advantageous. BPSS/NSV suitability applies.

Qualifications

• Familiarisation with Defence related technological solutions.
• Experience in EW techniques.
• Requirements definition and management (DOORS experience would be beneficial).
• Experience in full life cycle management in test solutions.
• Experience of chairing design reviews.
• Hardware and Software Design and Implementation.
• Experience in coding with LabView and TestStand.
• Familiarisation with ATLAS and C would be desirable.
• Requirement Verification and Compliance.
• Awareness of applicable legislation and standards in industrial environments.
• Experience/knowledge of Cyber Security within Test Solutions.
• Interfacing with Sub-Contractors.
• Experience of export compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews for test solutions and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Define and manage requirements across the full life cycle of test solutions.
• Oversee hardware and software design and implementation for complex test systems.
