Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking an outstanding Senior Test Engineer to lead testing across the Data and Analytics section of its modernisation programme. You will define testing strategy, provide technical leadership, and oversee all testing activities to ensure high-quality data transformation products.

You will drive automated testing adoption, build robust test solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

• Proven experience defining and executing testing strategies.
• Strong automation mindset and ability to design scalable test frameworks.
• Leads and mentors test engineers in multi-team delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall testing strategy across Data and Analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to test engineering teams.
• Oversee testing activities and drive improvements in quality.
• Ensure security, latency, scalability, stability, and capacity are embedded in services.
• Lead adoption of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Collaborate in agile, multi-functional teams to solve problems.
• Mentor and coach peers and junior Test Engineers.
