The Role



The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the testing function, ensuring on-time delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities




  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair products in accordance with internal and customer specifications

  • Develop and implement test procedures using Flying Probe, JTAG, and manual/automated functional testing methods

  • Drive quality initiatives to ensure products meet “right first time” standards and delivery timelines

  • Define and maintain clear test and inspection strategies, including coverage and acceptance criteria

  • Provide coaching and training to staff in all areas of test procedures and equipment

  • Establish and maintain training protocols and quality benchmarks for all test operators

  • Ensure timely completion of programming and test development to support production schedules

  • Offer technical support for all test operations, maintaining alignment with production and quality goals





  • The Candidate



    Qualification in Electronics, Engineering, or a relevant discipline



    Proven experience in a manufacturing test environment



    Strong knowledge of both digital and analogue electronics; capable of fault-finding to component level



    Familiarity with test methodologies and equipment



    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word



    Experience working with ERP systems and production databases



    Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting





    The Package

    Salary: £35,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
