Job summary

CACI Limited is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Information Intelligence Group on one of our public sector streams in Bristol. You will drive automated testing within fast-paced, agile teams, delivering UI and API tests across AWS cloud environments and CI/CD lifecycles.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, apply TDD/BDD, and collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in test automation engineering with strong hands‑on Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable UI and API automation frameworks using open-source tools.
Commercial experience with AWS cloud environments and testing cloud-native applications.
Practical experience in Agile and DevOps teams, applying TDD, BDD and continuous testing.
Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, exploratory and API testing.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and execute automated UI and API test frameworks across complex delivery programmes.
Develop tests in AWS cloud environments and validate cloud-based applications and integrations.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
Collaborate with Developers, BAs, POs and delivery teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Contribute to QA process improvements, automation frameworks, tooling and standards.
