Job summary

CACI UK’s Information Intelligence Group (IIG) is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join one of our live public sector projects. You’ll work in fast‑paced, agile delivery teams delivering continuous automated testing within CI/CD lifecycles, using Java, Selenium WebDriver and AWS.

You’ll design and maintain UI and API automation frameworks, run tests in AWS, apply TDD/BDD/ATDD, and integrate automation into pipelines while collaborating with Developers, BAs, and Product Owners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in test automation engineering with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining scalable UI and API automation frameworks using open-source tools.
• Commercial experience with AWS cloud environments and testing cloud-native applications.
• Practical experience in Agile and DevOps delivery, applying TDD, BDD, ATDD and continuous testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, API testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Java, Selenium WebDriver and open-source tools.
• Design and build automated UI and API frameworks to support QA across complex digital delivery programmes.
• Perform testing in AWS cloud environments for cloud-based applications and integrations.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
