Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

The Senior Test Analyst is responsible for creating test cases through in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability, and portability). They create traceability records linking test cases to requirements, produce automated and manual test scripts, materials, and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.

Senior TAs specify requirements for environment, data, resources, and tools. They interpret, execute, and document complex test scripts using established methods and standards, record and analyze actions and results, and maintain a defect register. They review test results and modify tests as needed. The role also includes providing reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues related to the project, as well as system quality metrics. They offer specialist advice to support others, review requirements and specifications, define test conditions, mentor TAs and Trainee TAs, and may deputize for the Lead Test Analyst.

  • Reviews test results and produces quality reports
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to colleagues
  • Reviews and tests non-functional aspects at a high level
  • Guides team members and prioritizes testing tasks
  • Mentors TAs and Trainee TAs
  • Deputizes for Lead Test Analyst
  • Maintains knowledge of specialisms and executes specialized tasks

About you

  • Identifies gaps in information and has experience with automated test tools
  • Experience with scripting in Cucumber/WebDriver IO, Playwright, Postman, or ReadyAPI
  • Systematically analyzes problems and devises solutions
  • Influences automation value addition
  • Familiar with testing techniques for functional and non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of testing tools across the testing lifecycle
  • Experience with applications or processes benefiting the test team
  • Possesses specialist knowledge in business functions, technology, or automation tools
  • Works collaboratively, proactively, and with attention to detail
