Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (or Design Manager) to join the in-house Temporary Works design team in Hertfordshire, near St Albans. Lead the production of temporary works designs for RC frames and groundworks and represent the company in client and consultant meetings.

Applicants should hold engineering qualifications with at least 5 years' post-graduate experience in temporary works, strong Eurocode knowledge, and be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modelling.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualifications required.
• Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in temporary works design for RC frame and groundwork sectors.
• Strong knowledge of current Eurocode design standards.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D Modelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce temporary works designs for RC frame and groundwork projects within the in-house team.
• Represent the company at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure design compliance across projects.
