Job description

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced SeniorTechnology Auditorto join their dynamic Internal Audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-performing environment, providing assurance across a range of technology domains while contributing to the organisation’s growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate will be an SME in Cloud based platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive audits across technology applications, infrastructure, information security, distributed platforms, and public cloud.
  • Develop and execute detailed audit testing programs to assess control effectiveness and address key risks.
  • Deliver high-quality audit reports, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, present findings, and influence change where necessary.
  • Support committee reporting and represent the audit function in working groups, steering committees, and project boards.
  • Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective remediation.
  • Contribute to the organisation’s Continuous Monitoring Program, promoting a culture of risk awareness.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience auditing technology or cybersecurity within regulated financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of technology standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO27001) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Microsoft365).
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python) is desirable.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
