Responsibilities:

• Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
• Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
• Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
• Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Drive service and standards, representing the Tesco brand well.
• Prioritize daily repairs using CMMS and oversee workflow.
• Ensure all PPMs are completed within timeframes and legal standards, including L8, LOLER, and PUWER compliance.
• Maintain high asset availability through pragmatic approaches.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on faulty equipment affecting operations.
• Ensure compliance in pest control proactively.
• Manage contractor works on-site, parts inventory, and ensure best practices.
• Improve SSOW/SOPs continuously.
• Handle ad hoc requests and multi-site responsibilities.
• Act with integrity and uphold the Business Code of Conduct.

You will need:

• Experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction.
• Digital proficiency with tablets for work schedules and emails.
• Operational skills including stakeholder management, influencing, communication, decision-making, attention to detail, root cause analysis, financial awareness, resilience, and responsiveness.
• Experience with CMMS, process improvement, conflict resolution, and contractor management.
