Senior Technician

Location: National - Can work in Cheltenham or London

Contract Type: Permanent (Hybrid and Flexible)

Required Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Job Role

To process London Market Insurance underwriting data accurately and efficiently in alignment with procedural guidelines

Key responsibilities

Process London Market Insurance underwriting data following established procedural guides.

Analyse technical data and calculate transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.

Manage internal and external queries to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data processing.

Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.

Organize documentation to facilitate smooth data processing.

Contribute to internal and external (client) reporting.

Personal Skills

Strong understanding of the insurance market, structure, practices, and regulations.

Familiarity with services provided by PCIS and specifically UWIS.

Experience with direct and reinsurance placements.

Ability to interpret insurance documentation and data accurately.

Knowledge of relevant classes of business and the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with client operations and underwriting teams.

Willingness to pursue relevant CII qualifications.
