The job

This is an exciting opportunity to join the AVEVA IT team in supporting our global operations in relation to intragroup arrangements. The purpose of the role is to ensure the set of rules & logic contained within EPCM and its design continue to be fit-for-purpose, reflecting the ongoing evolution of AVEVA’s business model and products.

Within AVEVA, EPCM plays a crucial part in calculating and managing intragroup recharges, which are directly linked to the Group’s operating model. Given this, together with AVEVA’s ongoing business changes and the tax requirements surrounding intragroup recharges (“Transfer Pricing”), this role will support AVEVA in maintaining its tax / Transfer Pricing compliance position.

Key responsibilities

  • System owner for EPCM, providing administration, design, analysis and development in relation to Transfer Pricing data models.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for intercompany recharges.

  • Responsible for requirement gathering, solution design and testing of EPCM module and related integrations.

  • Proficient in building forms and reports.

  • Responsible for data management and creating data load rules, mappings, and data loading processes.

  • Oracle ERP data feed and wider integration management.

  • Drive solution design consensus across technical teams and relevant subject matter experts.

  • Work with the training team to develop and deliver EPCM training for users

  • Perform impact assessment on Oracle releases and assist with the generation of test scripts

  • Keep up to date with Oracle EPCM roadmap developments

  • Assist the GPO’s in the ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures

  • Present at change control boards

  • Support IT PMs and BAs with information required for new project initiation & delivery

Essential requirements

  • Team Working & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Demonstrated experience of working across team in Finance, tax and IT.

  • Able to develop relationships with key business subject matter experts, functional leaders and business stakeholders.

  • Able to work within all levels of the organisation.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good general systems knowledge of EPCM, Oracle Fusion and other related technology.

  • Finance and basic tax / Transfer Pricing understanding.

  • Strong project management background with ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Strong problem-solving ability based on independent research and information gathering.

  • Good facilitator and organiser

  • Accurate and defined business requirement gathering

  • Successful articulation and presentation of proposed solution to teams and new users covering application configuration, integrations, reporting and data/data migration approaches

  • A creative and practical approach to addressing problems and recommending solutions

  • Experience of risk assessment and corresponding testing design across SIT and UAT

  • Successful business stakeholder management and coordination including leading staff through tasks and activities to plan ensuring issues are escalated promptly
