Job Description:

Senior Technical Support Engineer – Integrations

Location: Staines, Surrey

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days per week on-site in Staines, Surrey. It is inside IR35 & paying a maximum of £220 per day via Umbrella company. The contract is rolling for 12 months.

Qualifications and skills needed:

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues professionally
  • Teamwork skills
  • Strong commitment to quality and customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Email Infrastructure (POP3/IMAP, SMTP), Authentication & Authorization Technologies (LDAP, SAML), Web Services (SOAP, REST), Data Extraction Technologies (JDBC, ODBC), Networking (HTTP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience writing or debugging object-oriented code (Java preferred)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline

Preferred skills:

  • Fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, or CMDB
  • Experience with cloud-based software like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Okta
  • Professional fluency in a European language as a second language is desirable
