Senior Technical Services Manager

• GBP60,000 + GBP5,200 car allowance

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Services Manager to lead a technical team at a large estate in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical background and will oversee technical compliance and KPIs across the estate, ensuring excellent service delivery in planned and reactive maintenance, as well as lifecycle works.

The role involves ensuring contract compliance to avoid financial penalties, providing a positive customer experience, and maximizing P+L. Cultivating a positive and driven team culture is also a key focus.

Key duties:

• Managing 2 Technical Services Managers overseeing a 24/7 engineering team, providing strategic guidance.
• Managing engineering processes to ensure high service levels and KPI/SLA adherence.
• Reporting and analyzing KPIs to identify improvements.
• Driving team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working towards net zero targets by identifying energy efficiency opportunities.
• Ensuring technical compliance with site-specific equipment (HV/LV, UPS, CHP, water, pressure systems, heating, chilling, refrigeration).
• Attending high-level meetings with the client and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with SHEQ and contract compliance teams to ensure safety and KPI reporting accuracy.

Ideal candidate skills and experience:

• Mechanical background (time served)
• Experience in healthcare environments with knowledge of HTMs or experience on large complex commercial estates.
